And The Winners Are.....

Dear Friends, Thank you so much for your enthusiastic support last Saturday for our very special evening with the award winning artists from this years art contest for Children held during the Philippine Festival Independence Day celebration. It was such a treat to see all of the children enjoy the evening designed to encourage their creative expression and an extra special treat to hear from the globe trotting Rod Garcia band. Tutubi Productions and the Filipino Young Professionals are interested in any comments and or photos you would like to share with us. We are already planning some special events for the children for the fall and would love your suggestions for improvements and enhancements we could incorporate. The blog spot with all of the latest photos can be viewed at this location: http://kidartists.com/ Thank you once again for your support and encouragement. If you have comments you would allow us to use either in our blog spot; on the FYP web site; in the FYP newsletter; or in the article we are preparing for Manila Mail and Asian Fortune, please let us know as soon as possible as deadlines for submittal are looming in the near future.Very best regards, Linda & JulianTutubi International

....and the Winners and Participants of the 2007 Childrens' Art Contest
sponsored by PAFC and Tutubi Productions. Juried by the Filipino Young Professionals

Tutubi Productions and Filipino Young Professionals are proud to announce: Please join us in congratulating the winners and thanking all art contest participants who braved a cold, rainy June day to attend the Philippine-American Foundation for Charities, Inc. (PAFC) sponsored Philippine Independence Festival and created their own interpretation of “Celebrating America’s Many Cultures”. Thanks to PAFC, who provided the art tent for this annual contest; special thanks to the artists of the community who once again sponsored the award prizes for each of the recipients; and a huge debt of gratitude to the FYP members who braved the weather and shielded the children from the elements as they created their masterpieces this year. This coming Saturday, August 18th from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 139 in Arlington, Virginia the 2007 award recipients will have an exhibit of their award winning work; an opportunity to meet their sponsor; and a very special treat, a concert by the Rod Garcia band. You and your family are invited to join us for this free event. The American Legion Post 139 is located at 3445 Washington Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia.
